Report: Minnesota buries Wisconsin in economic performance

A new report suggests a reason: Minnesota has been outperforming Wisconsin on nearly every economic front. The report from the Economic Policy Institute, a left-leaning pro-labor think tank, looked at the economies of the Badger and Gopher states since the 2010 elections of Walker and Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton, a progressive Democrat. It showed that Minnesota outpaced Wisconsin in jobs, wages, health insurance, poverty and other factors.“On virtually every metric, workers and families in Minnesota are better off than their counterparts in Wisconsin — and the decisions of state lawmakers have been instrumental in driving many of those differences,” writes David Cooper, the report’s author

In other Wi News the Wi R’s endorsed Leah Vukmir to run against Baldwin. She is a Walker Alex-Koch clone. Her opening Ad was to rub salt in the wounds of Act 10 that hurt thousands of those hard working tax payers the R’S always talk about in WI.

Happy Mother’s Day to all Mom’s out there!!!!

Indiana senator Joe Donnelly announced on Saturday that he would support Gina Haspel as CIA sirector, becoming the second Democrat to offer his approval and all but ensuring that she will be confirmed.

In a statement, Donnelly said that he had a “tough, frank, and extensive conversation” with Haspel regarding her vision for the agency, and that she had learned from “mistakes of the past.” He also said that Haspel had assured him she would be “responsive to congressional oversight.”
