With 14% in Markey doing pretty well on the Cape (Barnstable County-looks like the Cape to me on the map), leading by 4. You’d have thought that would be Kennedy territory.

magsview

Oh no, Kennedy pulled ahead again, tight race! only 3% in so far.

Oh, but wait, now it’s 4% in and Markey is back in the lead. OMG crazy

Markey opening a bit of a lead

Wow, some mail in votes must have hit as markey is up by 17 points all of a sudden

Looks not great for Morse, he’s behind 60-40, including losing his home town so far. Most of the votes counted are from Springfield (Neal’s base) though

magsview

Looks like the dirty politics did its nasty work?

jcitybone

Yeah and also Morse was outspent $6 million to $2.5 million. If Morse doesn’t win this time, he can come back again like Cori Bush. I bet we will see the familiar pattern of progressives winning the younger voters, but older voters voting in heavier numbers. They also would be the ones who would be most swayed by homophobic stuff

wi62

No doubt

Good news: Mermell has taken a 700 vote lead over Auchincloss

It is infuriating though that four out of the five top vote getters are women who are more progressive than him

wi62

Increased to 5k now
