Bernie’s HELP committee has a Moderna representative at a hearing about vaccine pricing. The joker is defending profit over health. He claims the innovation piece is the debate-how much innovation are companies expect to innovate. But the claims are as another witness out put it, “revisionist” history.
.@BernieSanders should use his role as chair of HELP committee to SHAME @JoeBiden for pretending the GOP is the main impediment to lowering drug prices when it is Biden himself keeping prices high (in order to keep Wall St & pharma $ flowing for 2024) https://t.co/pchBFgxsQU
I’m trying to convince Mr. Benny to partake in an experiment (at a local university) that may contribute to earlier detection of prostate cancer. I’ll keep y’all posted/.
Please do. I lost a very dear friend to that cancer.😢 They unfortunately caught it in an advanced state. He warned me that the treatments would do hm in. He fought the good fight for 14 years though. 👊
Last night, I turned on All in with Chris Hayes. Hayes was not there, I think he was sick and they found a substitute – Michael Steele, who isn’t exactly a liberal. Last week Steele also guest hosted the show and had the same Rethug pundits as last night’s show: Jen Rubin and someone from The Bulwark. They are anti-Trumpers, as is Steele. But I would not say any of it is with a liberal bent.
I miss Olbermann’s rants but I’m sure he’s revealing his stance about the network.
It’s owned by a for-profit multinational craporation. I quit watching years ago.

Aint Supposed to Die A Natural Death
This post today at DWT ended with a video of the Rachael Maddow Show on March 20. It reminded me of my attachment years ago to Rachael, Olbermann and Cenk.
Some people don’t commit crimes because they’re upright, moral members of society, often with strong social bonds. Others don’t commit crimes because they don’t want to be punished— or even because they don’t want to worry that they could be punished. I think a lot of politicians— and certainly 100% of conservative politicians— are in the latter category. But if people in that category feel they are never going to be held accountable, what will stop them from committing crimes?
NEW: AG Raoul, Sen. Aquino, Rep. Cassidy, Ald. Pat Dowell all speak out against Bailey’s new endorsement of Paul Vallas following Vallas’ attacks against Gov. JB Pritzker pic.twitter.com/iteTsx2ExF

Context: Darren Bailey lost to Pritzker in the election last fall.
Honored to have the support of one of the nation's leading progressive voices, Rep. @AyannaPressley. She has provided a blueprint for creating effective public policy that centers those who have long been excluded from the political process. Welcome to the team, Rep. Pressley! ✊🏿 pic.twitter.com/8DKzGAI6Fl
No, he wants to win. We have to bear in mind that Johnson is still the underdog. It will depend if Lightfoot weighs in or not, and if the weather isn’t a disaster.
Powell Dont worry my fellow billionaires, i’ll get us to a full blown recession no matter how many times it takes to raise rates. and then you can cut payroll increasing your profits. The the GQP can run on recession and all the slackers that are on the govt program’s for 2024
There ain’t too much I can say about this song except that the answer is blowing in the wind. It ain’t in no book or movie or TV show or discussion group. Man, it’s in the wind – and it’s blowing in the wind. Too many of these hip people are telling me where the answer is but oh I won’t believe that. I still say it’s in the wind and just like a restless piece of paper it’s got to come down some … But the only trouble is that no one picks up the answer when it comes down so not too many people get to see and know … and then it flies away. I still say that some of the biggest criminals are those that turn their heads away when they see wrong and know it’s wrong. I’m only 21 years old and I know that there’s been too many wars … You people over 21, you’re older and smarter.[7]
Speaking of Dylan, I just finished Robert Gordan’s excellent Muddy Waters’ bio, “Can’t Be Satisfied.” Besides recounting the life of an essential giant in the history of Rock, Gordon also uses Waters’ life as an historical outline in R ‘n R’s development: jazz–blues–rock. Needless to say, Bob Dylan is a Waters’ fanboy. 🙂
The Bennys took a road trip to Mississippi 9 years ago and followed the Blues Trail. Clarksdale is the mecca for many of the musicians, including McKinley Morganfield, and on Highway 61 (the same one that runs all the way to Canada following the Mississippi River which leads to Bob Dylan’s Hometown – hence Dylan’s Highway 61 Revisited) is the Delta Blues Museum. If you haven’t been to it, it’s worth a trip.
I’m a history and music nut as you (and the other Birdies) know. I’ve actually done the Natchez Trace Parkway all the way to where it splits off towards Nashville. Talk about the Deep South. I love rhythm and blues, but I also like blues. What got me interested in reading about Waters was a movie I saw about Chess Records. Leonard Chess recorded Muddy until he died (Chess) of a sudden heart attack. It also introduced me to Little Walter who Muddy stated was the best harmonica player he ever recorded with/heard. Walter came from Louisiana and was born around the same time as Muddy. He was also a hothead and crazier than a bed bug so he died young.
Talking about music is a lot cheerier than politics, that is for sure! 🙂
Fire away…

Didn’t Moderna back off on the extortion after Bernie went public? Craporations don’t like sunlight just like cockroaches.💩

Mr. Benny’s sibling fought back against the disease and is in re-mission. But it’s so silent until it really hits.

No Trump Perp Walk Yet
The network’s prime time anchors finally admitted their programming was “indictment watch”.
pathetic. I only watched the part with Michael Beschloss.
Context: Preckwinkle was in the runoff with Lori Lightfoot last time.
On the other end of the spectrum:
Context: Darren Bailey lost to Pritzker in the election last fall.
Is Vallas trying to give the race to Johnson? Or is he just stupid?
No, he wants to win. We have to bear in mind that Johnson is still the underdog. It will depend if Lightfoot weighs in or not, and if the weather isn’t a disaster.
And he is as sharp as a new razor blade! 🪐💫🪐
Fire Jay Powell.

Hear! Hear! He’s an orange maggot holdover. What is Byedone’s hang up? Obummer pulled something similar with the Cheney-Dumbya garbage.
Biden is triangulating, just like Obama and the Clintons did. They know where their bread is buttered.
There’s not a Trader Joe’s in my town. But when I have visited them, I wasn’t overly impressed.
T and R x 2, Ms. Benny!! ☮️🙂👍 I’ll have a cuppa (Brit saying for a cup of black tea with either honey or sugar and cream or milk).🫖
I’ve also heard the Brits call tea “a fresh brew” if offering it to someone in their home.

Sheesh, how this country keeps running backwards!!! It really is disgusting and infuriating. Sometimes, I feel I’ve lived too long! 🙁
