Our Revolution is having an event too.
We’ll add more news, tweets, and videos in the comments. This serves as an open thread. It’s Thursday evening and Benny’s bar is open for HH.

Sure Happy Its Thursday…
Rast was the National Field Director.
This is rather disturbing.
This scene will NOT change until the FRighties are driven out of power!
Must be weird to be Liz on that panel but I’m glad she’s participating. However, she still could not embrace Medicare for All. She said everyone needs affordable access in a resilient system. Bernie remarked that there is no health care system in the US.
Liz brings up an important point about debt forgiveness. Payday lending is a form of credit gauging. Some rates are 200% if you are late.
Bernie points out how expensive it is for poor people.
What lessons are going to come out of this pandemic?
Nice rant over at TOP if one wants to keep the tip jar of the blogger from being buried.
I don’t log in these days, but the poll in that diary is sorta telling.
Blue MAGA.
Amen X 1000^^^^^
The comments are BlueMAGA, but not the diary.

I kinda picked up on her tone during the panel discussion earlier that she was not gonna be selected. While some of her ideas were incremental, she made it clear her job was to prevent the bankers from getting all of the funding.
No different from Timothy McVeigh.
That was a good interview. I try to listen to some of Useful Idiots whenever I get a chance.
Our Revolution is having an organizing call: https://www.mobilize.us/ourrevolution/event/265253/?
Have to sign up to hear it.
Tonight’s guests include Jayapal, Rashida Tlaib, Jeff Merkley, Keith Ellison, and Susan Sarandon.
Susan Sarandon is talking about the first time she introduced Bernie at an Iowa mall. I’m certain the 5 year anniversary when Bernie announced the first time for the presidency (today is April 30th) is on the minds of the panel.
She said in a lesser than 2 voting situation, we have to focus on the down ballots and support them. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
Keith said he will vote for Biden, but the movement continues. Our Revolution is no longer rallying around one personality. However, we should push back in NY to not take Bernie off the ballot. Too important for organizing in the long run. There is no reason why we shouldn’t have all vote by mail.
This is why OR and DSA will continue to be important.
