I’m not seeing how at this point Warren is going to be able to offer a plan that is significantly different than the Bernie/Jayapal plan. I think she’s going to count on people who prefer her style to Bernie’s to get her over the top.

They just can’t wait for their “fight” to start.
T and R, jcb!! I’m glad there is still 15 months before the elections. I have been following the campaign hoping a younger person will surface that I can support like I do the Bernster. 🙂 Disappointed so far. I listened to about 5 minutes of Wednesday’s “debate.” Biden was on, and it sounded like BO was running for re-election. Batty Biden never answered what he would do. It was all BO. Not impressed with Tulsi nor the rest who have little or no “public servant” experience. 15 months is a long time. Maybe someone will emerge?
It is 15 months to the general election, by which time the Democrat nominee will have been in place for about some time. Iowa and New Hampshire are only six months away. Support for Bernie and his policies need to be solidly in place by then.
I have to ask. If you say you support Bernie, why are you looking for a younger person to supplant him? A younger person will not have the record that Bernie has nor the lifetime commitment that are some of his strongest drawing points.
I never said “supplant” Bernie. Read what I wrote. I have worked his campaigns and will vote for him.
Obf–you were referring to a VP candidate, right? That’s what I thought you meant.
Thanks Benny. That’s exactly what I meant. Sorry if it was a bit confusing.
I worry about a kind of generation gap between Bernie and let’s say AOC. Bernie’s holding down the fort as best as he can, but some of the best people coming up behind him are a bit too young yet. I wouldn’t be surprised at all, though, if by 2024 some of them are ready.
i think they may have to merge, as much as possible. if it’s up to the wire and one of them would win with a big chunk of the other’s, a lot if us would be pretty ok with that.

But the BezosPost says no no no! I’ll take Rep. Jayapal’s word over theirs.

Bezos strikes again, ruining what was once a decent news read. Shite on him.
Well not surprised about wapo, Bernie’s been consistent on Amazons pay and their zero income tax. Bernie is a clear and present danger to the corporatistic empires goal of total control.
Speaking of Mr. B:
I’m looking at you Joe

Well Trumpka, it’s not that hard just endorse Bernie, He’s proven he’ll fight like hell for all workers union or otherwise.
Except Rep. Neal, Western MA is not a purple district. It’s one of the bluest in MA.

wow!
“Lost in some of the coverage of these policies, however, is the fundamental question of why they are so necessary. The United States, once the beacon of freedom and opportunity for oppressed peoples around the world, no longer stands up to its reputation.”
Interesting maps in this article.

Bernie covers most the country, then the rich corporate donors chime in for the rest of the field.

loving this.
I’m surprised Warren got a word in without Matthews talking over her.
I’m surprised she was able to squirrel out of it without answering the question. Maybe Bernie should take a tip from her: continue the frame about cost and get rid of the GOP talking point of taxes.
17 million.
“”Making our website fully compliant was a significant and ongoing undertaking. It required a redesign of the look and feel of the website, and a need to evaluate all of the thousands of documents and other files that were linked to our website,” Jeffrey Callison, CDCR assistant secretary for communications, told the Free Beacon.
He said the older reports are still publicly accessible and that some information was only temporarily removed.”
