From a campaign email:

No doom and gloom here, Brian. We’ve got a great problem on our hands as we get set for the next debate to begin.

Good news: Bernie is ready! And when he takes the stage, he’ll be doing it as the candidate with the most volunteers, the most donations, and who has raised the most money… all at an average donation of just $19.

Better news: Despite the fact our average donation has fallen this month — it’s around $13 right now — we have so many donations that we’re close to where we wanted to be before Bernie takes the stage.

But we’re still a bit short of where we hoped we’d be at the start of the debate — and we really need this to be a BIG night for our campaign.

Don’t be fooled by the beginning. The video actually starts at the 5 minute mark

Does that graphic mean that Kamala will be to Bernie’s right? I kinda hope that Bernie doesn’t get his finger in her space, cuz she might try to make a ‘joke’ about it. (I can do without her entertainment-style giggles)

Someone on another blog said Pete came out of the same chemical broth as Shkreli and Kushner, LOL.

CNN analyst Bakari Sellers—a former member of the South Carolina House of Representatives—called 2020 candidate Hawaii congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard “a puppet for the Russian government” during a panel appearance on Tuesday, hours before the fourth Democratic debate is set to take place in Westerville, Iowa.

“There is a change that Tulsi’s not just working for the United States of America, but I digress,” Sellers said during a CNN panel discussion of the upcoming debate.

“What does that mean?” CNN host Alisyn Camerota asked.

“That’s not just an allegation. I firmly believe that Tulsi Gabbard stands on that stage and is the antithesis to what the other 11 individuals stand for. Especially when it comes to issues such as foreign policy,” Sellers explained. “There is no question that Tulsi Gabbard, of all the 12, is a puppet for the Russian government.”

“Woah oh oh, that is strong,” CNN political analyst April Ryan said.

“How is there no question?” Camerota asked, clearly stunned by Sellers’ remarks.

Sellers replied by pointing to Gabbard’s alleged “affection” for people like Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad. “Her admiring somebody who we know to be a war criminal propping them up,” he said. “I think that those are questions that will have to be answered.”

Who is Bakari Sellers?

Bakari Sellers, the 31 year-old former South Carolina state lawmaker who became a paid CNN shill for Hillary Clinton in 2015, following the Charleston massacre, is also a longtime operative for AIPAC, the deep-pocketted, cutthroat lobby for Israel. In a letter to Democratic Party officials, last month, Sellers claimed to have gathered the signatures of 60 “lifelong” Black Democrats urging rejection of any changes to the party’s slavishly pro-Israel 2012 platform positions, denouncing as “anti-Semitic” the global movement against Israeli oppression of Arabs in Palestine and the nearly 50-year-long occupation of the West Bank. “Since the last platform was approved, anti-Semitism has been on the rise and it has taken a new form – the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement known as BDS,” said the letter , much of which consisted of quotes from Hillary Clinton, including, “In Israel’s story, we see our own.”.

Oh gawd, Bakari implying that Tulsi is basically anti-U.S.? An active military service member???

(p.s. did he or the transcripter mean to say ‘charge’ rather than ‘change’?)

He is backing Kamala.

COLUMBIA — Bakari Sellers announced Monday he is backing U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris in the 2020 presidential race, giving the California Democrat one of the most prominent endorsements yet in the critical early primary state of South Carolina.

A former state lawmaker-turned-CNN political commentator, Sellers said the Palmetto State “deserves a leader that is attuned to the needs of all communities, particularly rural communities like my hometown of Denmark.”

He praised Harris for proposing a federal teacher pay increase, focusing on problems like rising maternal mortality rates and contaminated water, and supporting historically black colleges and universities.

Well she’s Ms. AIPAC so it makes sense.

we don’t even have truth broadcast anymore. And I mean that in the most expensive sense, including all media. Yes if you have the time and you know to look in certain places online you can find the truth, but you have to be a little more careful. The MSM literally spreads lies at this point. Usually dressed up nicely, but lies nonetheless.

This made me chuckle.?

In 2020, Trump couldn’t ask for a better contender than Joe Biden, who will repeat Clinton’s approach but with less brainpower.

The truth is that Bernie is sensible and heart. Rather than contort ourselves into political acrobatics of “electability” versus what we actually want, we should recognize that the two go hand in hand. What we want happens to be what masses of people want, too. Now we just need to fight for that vision through Bernie Sanders’s very winnable campaign.
