Michael Moore reveals the name and release date of his new Trump documentary

Michael Moore has revealed the name and release date of his upcoming documentary about President Trump.

The Flint native appeared on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” last night and even showed a clip of the film which he says is about “how the Hell we got into this situation and how we’re going to get out of it.”

“We are in deep, deep trouble here. I’m finishing the film right now. it will be out September 21st. It’s called ‘Fahrenheit 11/9,’ the night he (Trump) was announced President of the United States.”

The calls for abolishing ICE gains momentum.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is calling for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to be abolished, saying that the agency has “become a punitive, negative tool for division,” and is “no longer acceptable.”

In calling for the agency to be disbanded, de Blasio echoed comments made by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a political newcomer who vanquished Rep. Joe Crowley (D-N.Y.) in a Democratic primary race on Tuesday.

“You need some kind of agency to deal with immigration, but ICE is not that,” de Blasio said on “The Brian Lehrer Show” on WYNC. “ICE has proven it can’t be that. ICE’s time has come and gone; it is broken. ICE has been sent on a very negative, divisive mission, and it cannot function the way it is.”

“So I think Ms. Ocasio-Cortez is right,” he added. “We should abolish ICE. We should create something better, something different.

More must be done. The DNC can’t be trusted.

I think what Jamal is missing here is this will remove the ability for the media to announce supers during the actual campaign.

That us true but there is one gigantic problem. I expect that there will be a large field and the likelihood that no one candidate will have enough first ballot votes. Then the superdelegates get to possibly determine the final outcome. I don’t seem to see that the overall number of superdelegates is being reduced.

They definitely still have the possibility, but its more the ties now go to the establishment, where before it was just pure railroading using the super dels psychologically against the voters. So though i do agree its not enough in itself, i also believe it really is something.

Voting has a lot of tribal elements to it and people want to be on the winning side, I think Bernie would have had a way better chance if every race was shown like they always were, without superdels, they were added in for that race specifically or at least i dont recall seeing them added into the race as it goes before, like ever.

Since the superdels have no first round vote they cant be counted with the first round tally of the states, so at least people will be able to see the race as it really is through voters and not how the party might prefer how they view it.

Its something.

It looks like a cover up to me. The crackdown is sure to follow.

Canada responds to Trump’s tariffs.

Canada announced billions of dollars in retaliatory tariffs against the U.S. on Friday in a tit for tat response to the Trump administration’s duties on Canadian steel and aluminum.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government released the final list of items that will be targeted beginning July 1. Some items will be subject to taxes of 10 or 25 percent.

“We will not escalate and we will not back down,” Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland said.

The taxes on items including ketchup, lawn mowers and motor boats amount to $12.6 billion.

“This is a perfectly reciprocal action,” Freeland said. “It is a dollar for dollar response.”

Freeland said they had no other choice and called the tariffs regrettable

The billionaires don’t care about price increases as their income is well beyond worrying about something costing more. However when their corporate profits fall Sharpley due to the middleclass not affording to buy their products that will get their attention. Even China marts cheap stuff will cost more which is disastrous for the middle and poor class of American’s and don’t forget retired Americans on limited incomes. Wasn’t the crash of 29 caused by some of this foolishment as well?

Bullying didn’t work this time!

Decades of American leadership at the United Nations migration agency was broken on Friday as voters rejected President Donald Trump’s nominee for director general, electing Portuguese politician Antonio Vitorino instead.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) had been led by an American throughout the agency’s 67-year history with one exception, from 1961 to 1969.

But Trump’s pick Ken Isaacs, an executive with the Christian charity Samaritan’s Purse who faced serious charges of anti-Muslim bigotry, proved to be an untenable choice.

Analysts had warned that voters might back Isaacs to avoid US fundings cuts, but Trump’s posture on migration and Isaacs’s personal history appeared to sway the room.
