Special Post: Rebuttal to Dmitri Mehlhorn, Dem Operative
Hi Birdies,
I’m posting a separate thread because this is a Deconstructed podcast transcription, and it is very long. I’ll be posting it in several parts, for archival purposes to ensure it’s handy when we need to remember some of the points (or should I say counterpoints) raised by Ryan Grim and his guest, Anat Shenker-Osorio, the founder of ASO Communications.
Part 1 – Introduction
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
“And, generally speaking, the animals that they give us for the Democrats is a snail, a sloth, a turtle, some permutation of a thing that doesn’t do much, and does it slowly.”
—————————
Thanks Ms. Benny for the post. I don’t see any remarks on what animals they compare the GOPukes to. Why not?
Part 5
Part 6
They’re “entrenched” cos they’re brainwashed.
Part 7
Ugh. Not impressed. How come the Powell Memo crowd has been so successful with their crap?
Because it is the message of both the donkey and the elephant – who want to move very slowly – and not rock the corporate boats. However, the elephants have been stampeding for the past 6 months.
Worse than stampeding, they’ve been smashing everything in sight! 🤬
I lean suspicious on the methods proposed by AS. Whenever you privilege “messaging” over “policy” you’re teetering on the edge of lying to the public in order to persuade people to vote for you. Interesting mention of perceived “slowness” of Dem’s. Is “fast” good in any area of our life except some business decisions? RFK Jr at this point seems to be running on pure policy. It’s all content and following the track of reasoned analysis. RFK Jr’s campaign method is: you can’t fix a problem if you don’t understand it; if you want to fix problems, then go slow. Then he explicates issues in a conversational way–and yeah, have you got an hour or two to hear how the problem came about? Back to AS’s methods–a buzz-word like “freedom beloved by Americans” is really iff-y, and again rings of messaging as psychological manipulation, IMO. Thanks again to Benny for posting the long-form of this article!
T and R, Ms. Benny!! 🙂☮️👍 I just skimmed through it cos like you pointed out, it’s a reprint.
